What's in This Framework

Building Blocks 3 BLOCKS

Prompts, Skills, and Agents — the three building blocks of AI at Volue. Start with prompts, add domain knowledge through skills, and automate end-to-end with agents.

Governance Tiers 3 TIERS

Individual, Team, and Enterprise tiers with different oversight levels. Self-serve tools need no approval; enterprise solutions require full business cases.

AI Catalogue AI CATALOGUE

Central registry of AI assets — prompts, skills, and agents. The AI Catalogue enables sharing across departments with search, voting, and usage tracking.

Champions Program 2 TRACKS

Creators build prompts and agents; Ambassadors train colleagues and spread adoption. Contribution-based recognition with Champion and Distinguished tiers.

Governance Bodies 2 BODIES

AI Executive Council sets monthly strategy, Team Leads meet bi-weekly for tactical decisions and execution.

Use Case Journey 3 STAGES

From Spark (personal experiments) through Ignite (team adoption) to Scale (enterprise rollout). Clear paths for ideas to grow into org-wide solutions.

Roadmap & Maturity 2026

Quarterly milestones from foundation (Q1) through scaling (Q4). Maturity model tracks progress from Aware to Optimizing across all BUs.

AI Building Blocks

Three building blocks form the foundation of how Volue uses AI. They build on each other — from simple prompts to fully autonomous agents.

Prompts
What to ask — and how to ask it well

A prompt is the instruction you give to an AI model. Good prompts are clear, specific, and include the right context.

At Volue, prompts range from quick questions to structured templates shared across departments via the AI Catalogue.

Quick questions Templates Reusable patterns
Skills
What AI knows about how Volue works

A skill is packaged domain knowledge that gives AI context about Volue's processes, standards, and ways of working.

Skills turn generic AI into a Volue-aware assistant — one that understands our products, customers, and workflows.

Domain knowledge Processes Standards
Agents
What AI does for us — end to end

An agent is an AI system that can plan, reason, and take actions autonomously to complete multi-step tasks.

Agents combine prompts and skills with tools and APIs to deliver end-to-end workflows — from data analysis to customer support.

Everyone begins with prompts. As you gain experience, layer in skills for Volue-specific context and graduate to agents for complex workflows. The AI Catalogue tracks all three building blocks.

Governance Bodies

Two interconnected bodies ensure AI initiatives are strategically aligned and operationally effective. The AI Executive Council sets direction while Team Leads drive day-to-day execution.

AI Executive Council

Monthly · 30 min Strategic

The senior leadership forum that sets AI strategy, approves major investments, and ensures cross-BU alignment on AI priorities.

Team Leads

Bi-weekly Operational

Meritocratic BU Representation

Top contributors from the Champions Program naturally represent their BU in governance forums. Influence comes from contribution, not appointment.

1
Organic Leadership

Most active Champions (Creator or Ambassador) represent their BU

2
Fallback

If no leader emerges, CoE appoints from existing contributors

3
Rotation

Appointed coordinators rotate to share responsibility

Champions Program

The Champions Program recognizes Volue employees who drive AI adoption through two complementary tracks. Recognition flows from what you do, not a title you hold.

Contribution-based Dual-track recognition No gatekeeping Play to your strengths

Creators

Build AI Assets Auto-tracked

Creators build the AI assets that power Volue's transformation — prompts, agents, workflows, and automation. They're the makers who turn ideas into tools others can use.

How to Earn Creator Recognition
Contribute prompts Build agents Create workflows Develop templates
Creator Activities
Contribute to the AI Catalogue
Build automation scripts
Develop use cases for new tools
Build solutions at hackathons

Ambassadors

Spread Adoption Auto + Self-logged

Ambassadors amplify AI adoption across the organization — training colleagues, curating resources, presenting at sessions, and connecting people to solutions. They ensure great work doesn't stay hidden.

How to Earn Ambassador Recognition
Train colleagues Present sessions Curate content Connect people
Ambassador Activities
Vote & curate in the AI Catalogue
Run training sessions
Present at Knowledge Sessions
Support peers at Office Hours
Onboard team members
Create learning paths
Earn Both Tracks
Many contributors earn recognition in both tracks. Build a prompt (Creator) and present it at a Knowledge Session (Ambassador) — you're recognized for both. Play to your strengths, or develop new ones.

Recognition Tiers

Two levels of recognition within each track, based on sustained contribution and impact.

Champion
Active contributor

Earned by actively contributing to either track. Contribute prompts, run training sessions, or help colleagues — and you're automatically recognized as a Champion.

Distinguished
Exceptional sustained contribution

Requires both sustained contribution (6+ months) AND peer/CoE nomination. Distinguished status is earned and endorsed — you can't game the numbers alone.

* Future expansion: badges, milestones, and achievements (Trailhead-style) will be added as the program grows.

BU Representation & Governance

Top contributors naturally become the voice for their BU in governance forums.

How It Works
1
Organic Leadership — Most active Champions (Creator or Ambassador) in each BU represent their team at bi-weekly Team Leads meetings
2
Fallback — If no clear leader emerges, CoE appoints a BU Coordinator from existing contributors
3
Rotation — Appointed coordinators rotate among contributors to share responsibility and opportunity
Why Meritocratic?
  • Influence comes from contribution
  • Ambassador-heavy BUs still have representation
  • No appointments required
  • Natural progression to leadership

Rewards & Benefits

  • Leaderboard visibility — separate boards for Creators & Ambassadors
  • Early access to new AI tools
  • Exclusive training sessions
  • Shout-outs at Knowledge Sessions
  • Organizational recognition for sustained contributions

Tracking in the AI Catalogue

  • Creator activities — auto-tracked via contributions
  • Ambassador in-app — votes, comments, curation tracked automatically
  • Ambassador external — self-log trainings, presentations (trust-based)
  • Profile badges — Champion/Distinguished status displayed

Recognition and awards will be organized on a regular basis as the program matures.
